BISON is a fast-growing tech hardware company, building new markets for a novel range of container handling systems used by industrial customers now in 60 countries. Since forming in 2015, we’ve scaled to a team of 25, located in NZ, USA and Europe, and are proud to count NASA, NATO, Siemens and GE among our flagship customers.
We’re now seeking an experienced production manager to provide leadership and direction to our production team, to champion our culture of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, and play a key part in realising our vision of BISON as a world-class manufacturer of innovative industrial equipment.
This is a newly created, executive-level role, reporting to the CEO, with strong support from our CTO.
You will lead a team that has grown from 7 to 15 in the last year and assume full responsibility for our production operations - from purchasing and inventory control, through to manufacturing, quality control, production information systems, and production improvement.
You will provide strategic oversight - driving efficiencies and optimisation across our production operation - while at the same time getting hands on in ensuring we manufacture high quality products that our customers can count on, in spec, on time, with minimal waste.
Based at our brand new office and production facility in Dunedin, we offer you a dynamic working environment, surrounded by a supportive and motivated group of people, and an innovative and focused company culture.
